My throttle grip came completely loose, to the point where I couldn’t engage the throttle. So I cut it off so I can modulate the throttle tube.

I rode back to town and found an Ace Hardware. I bought some grip tape and baling wire.

Solo weekend trip that turned into a day trip, due to a mechanical issue. Still managed 400+ miles.

Some photos of my XR650. The mounting bolts for the cam backed out, and aluminum chards went everywhere! I replaced the cam, mounting bolts, cam chain guides, cam chain tensioner, gaskets, and reseated the valves.

Alex and I rode to John Day River and camped with Devin and Matt. I’m not much for photographing people in my pictures, that’s something I’m trying to work on — to be more of a Photo Journalist, than only a Landscape Photographer.

Alex and I put down some miles riding around Tillamook State Forest. All these photo are from the same area, in the same day. And it’s amazing how different they all look — dry, snow, forest, rocks, wet, etc…

My buddy Greg rode his KTM890 up from San Francisco (644 miles, one way) for my birthday weekend. We started by going to SeeSees Coffee, then we rode around The Gorge — to explore some waterfalls. The next day we rode Section 7 of the Oregon-BDR. I think he got the full PNW experience!
